Rizal departed from New York City on board the City of Rome,
bound for Liverpool.

It took him nine days to travel aboard the City of
Rome from New York to Queenstown, where he arrived at 2:00 A. M.
Late in the afternoon of May 24th , he arrived at Liverpool,
England, and boarded at the Adelphi Hotel.
25 May 1888
He left Liverpool for London, England. |
