To commemorate the 106th death anniversary of our national hero, Jose Rizal, the Jose Rizal Univeristy community led by the school's officers offered a wreath before the Jose Rizal Monument in the university on December 30, 2002. In a brief speech, Dr. Armand V. Fabella, Chairman of the board of Trustees, reminded the community of the ideals by which he lived and for which he died.
